This trip across Nepal includes Tukche and Jomsom in the Annapurna region where travelers meet local villagers at two of our READ Community Library and Resource Centers. This two week trip takes place in the fall, usually in October. Leading the trip is READ’s founder, Dr. Antonia Neubauer.
This 12-day fall trip goes to some of the more rural areas of India, such as the Sunderbans in West Bengal where the first READ Community Library and Resource Center in India was built. You will also visit Manipur in the northeast, and visit its READ Center where you will participate in the festival of Kut, rich with Indian culture.
