“I was about to die. I do not want to remember those days,” says Mr. Rakta Sapokta, who was diagnosed with tuberculosis. He was referred to the local READ Center in Jhuwani, Nepal which partners with the District Health Office to provide free treatment and medication for TB.
Mr. Sapokta and 20 other local villagers have made full recoveries from TB due to this READ program.
